Troubleshoot: Can't Pair Your Amazon Remote During Setup
If your remote doesn't work during setup or you see "Pairing failed," try these options
- If your remote doesn't pair automatically, press the Home
button until "Press Play
to start" appears on-screen (about 10 seconds).
- Move your remote closer to your device, within 10 ft (3 m).
- Remove the batteries from your remote and wait 30 seconds. Put the batteries back in and then press and hold the Home
button again.
- Try using a new pair of alkaline batteries. Once the new batteries are in your remote, press and hold the Home
again.
- Reset your Amazon remote.
- Press and hold the Left
button, Menu
button, and Back
button at the same time.
- Hold them for 12 seconds.
- Press and hold the Home
again.
- Press and hold the Left
- Unplug your Signage Stick, wait 5 seconds, and then plug it back in.
