Troubleshoot: Can't Pair Your Amazon Remote During Setup

If your remote doesn't work during setup or you see "Pairing failed," try these options

• If your remote doesn't pair automatically, press the Home button until "Press Play to start" appears on-screen (about 10 seconds).
• Move your remote closer to your device, within 10 ft (3 m).
• Remove the batteries from your remote and wait 30 seconds. Put the batteries back in and then press and hold the Home button again.
• Try using a new pair of alkaline batteries. Once the new batteries are in your remote, press and hold the Home again.
• Reset your Amazon remote.
  1. Press and hold the Left button, Menu button, and Back button at the same time.
  2. Hold them for 12 seconds.
  3. Press and hold the Home again.
• Unplug your Signage Stick, wait 5 seconds, and then plug it back in.
